Doce Me Passionem Tuam - Teach Me Your Passion

"Doce me passionem Tuam" (pronounced "doe-chay may") is a simple aspiration that you can pray many times a day: it asks Christ to "teach me Your suffering," or more literally, "teach me your passion".

The paradoxical secret of happiness is found in unity with Christ on the Cross. Instead of asking God to help us avoid suffering, or to explain why we are suffering, this prayer takes us more deeply into Christ’s suffering, where we encounter the depths of His love and find liberation. The riches of Jesus’ Passion are endless: this is a prayer you can repeat countless times and never fully plumb its depths or exhaust its meaning. If you write this short phrase on your heart and pray it habitually, it can change your life.

Free cards and stickers will ship from LettersToTheLord. Full size prints will ship directly from the printer, Artelo, based in Kentucky.

Paper options: matte poster and velvet fine art.

Frames: Black metal, walnut oak or black oak frames with UV protective acrylic covers are available for all basic prints shipped from Artelo. Frames will include hanging hardware. PLEASE NOTE: The framed mockup listed in the images does NOT represent any of the framed options available for purchase.
