"Miraculous" - 2024 Original

"Miraculous" is my own rendition of the Miraculous Medal. The front and back images of the medal are painted colorfully with metallic gold and silver paints. On the left (front), Our Lady stands proud - stomping on the serpent, golden rays dazzling outward from her hands, surrounded by the French text "O MARIE CONCUE SANS PECHE PRIEZ POUR NOUS QUI AVONS RECOURS A VOUS"; the English translation hangs above "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee." On the right, the back side of the Miraculous Medal - an intertwined Cross and 'M', with the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, surrounded by 12 stars. The text and image are accompanied by a vine of white lilies, symbolizing the purity of Our Lady's Immaculate Conception.
