Gothic Textura Quadrata is the script most immediately identifiable as 'Gothic'. These classic letterforms are straight-bodied and carry pointed diamond serifs, and the script is affectionately known by calligraphers as the 'picket fence' - just try writing the word minimum and you'll know what I mean.
