Before and After Mass Prayer Card Bundle

Note: Selected options will apply to both prints.

This bundle collects two beautiful prayers - a Preparation for Mass and Farewell to the Altar, prayed by the priest before and after Mass. Handwritten in my signature Blackletter/Fraktur calligraphy, the prayer cards may be used by the priest or a layperson to enter more deeply into the Mass, and joyfully await the next.

Prints available in 5x7, 8x10, or 11x14; printed on 100% cotton velvet fine art paper. 5x7 and 8x10 prints may be laminated for improved durability and practicality for use as prayer cards.

The first prayer reads:

'O Priest of Jesus Christ, may you offer this Holy Mass as if it is your first; as if it is your last; as if it is the only offering of your life.'

and the second prayer:

'Remain in peace, O Holy Altar of God. I hope to return to you in peace. May the offering I have received from you forgive my sins and prepare me to stand blameless before the throne of Christ. I know not whether I shall be able to return to you again to offer sacrifice. Guard me, O Lord, and prepare Your Holy Church, that She may be the way to salvation and the light of the world. Amen.'
